ZIPI - Providing easy integration for authorities
The success of ZIPI has had the added benefit of further extending the integration opportunities to back office systems and reducing overall integration requirements, with both Lincolnshire County Council and London Borough of Croydon discussing methods for extending the system integration for further usage.
The architecture that the Zipporah systems are based upon has always been intended to be as extensible as possible with our integrations focusing towards web services in order to offer as secure but flexible a solution to an authority's integration needs as possible.
As part of an ongoing programme of continued development Zipporah is enhancing the workflow and data capture elements of their system in order to provide more options and link it closer to reporting functions.
In addition to enhancing the application Zipporah has also taken its existing web service based integration architecture and enhanced it to provide a full deep integration which will work to reduce the numebr of independant integrations that may be needed to connect back office to payments and workflow.
As ZIPI is a system built for taking service requests whether they need to be paid for or not its architecture and functionality is suited to connecting together a range of systems through a single portal whilst keeping the public informed as well.
Zipporah's own plans for this level of development has always been in place to ensure that our systems can integrate at any level. Our discussions with the authorities are at preliminary stages but this is the first step towards fully integrated system communication. More news on this will be posted as we proceed with the work in June.
