Zipporah and state of the art
technology |
We use state of the art technology so all our products integrate easily with existing systems and ‘zero footprint’ means staff and customers can access systems easily and quickly without any predefined software.
Our technical experts have chosen a .net framework and C# as it bests supports enterprise level applications. It follows a 3-tier architecture that ensures a fully scalable, robust and efficient system.
Zipporah offers easy and fast installation and high levels of support and because the system is web-based Zipporah works with its clients to consult on their needs and to make sure they get the system they need.
Zipporah’s Technical Director has previously been a technical consultant to the Local Authority e-Government Standards Body, which allowed him to identify best practice and work alongside organisations setting standards across the world; identifying standards that local authorities could adopt. This has helped to ensure that Zipporah deliver to the highest standards.
Integration and Web Services
As we work with a large number of organisations it is required that we deliver a variety of integrations through a variety of techniques.
Our integrations include capacity to produce standard outputs in XML or flat file format to deliver direct integration to back office systems. However our architecture also allows us to provide a SOA architecture where this is relevant in the system.
Our integration through our SOA components allows us to provide an open web service interface that can be used to integrate a number of systems. Our experience so far has included delivery of full integration to payments systems and CRM systems as well as links with finance systems to reduce re-keying of data. Our integration with CRM systems has included simple passing of information alongside deep integration with customer details, reference numbers and staff information. To find out more you can read our integration case study.
Accessibility and Usability
Following the completion of any project we ensure that our applications meet accessibility and usability guidelines. This includes ensuring that the systems have screen reader compatible versions and can work effectively without Javascript enabled.
In addition we encourage usability testing of our applications and have worked with several authorities to satisfy this requirement. This includes our system being used as part of an employee interview process and accessed by random members of the public to assess usage. Our usability has been successful in a number of areas and has received many compliments from public users in relation to the ease of use and information provided from the system. |
