Over the last couple of years there has been a decrease in satisfaction regarding digital government services. Customer demand and expectations continuously rise putting pressure on the government to deliver.
Upon reviewing the proposal, we found it aligns with our values as a forward-thinking and innovative organisation. Key takeaways include redesigning services, so they are user-friendly, accommodating to diverse user needs - ensuring accessibility and committing to improvement through customer feedback and emerging technologies. Focusing on developing intuitive and responsive designs, which involves recognising and accommodating different user preferences while ensuring accessibility for everyone, regardless of their abilities or skills.
Productivity and efficiency are next on the list with the need to be enhanced by simplifying tasks to reduce errors, achieving cost savings, such as reducing physical infrastructure. Improving data-driven decision-making and establishing systems for transformation. For Local Authorities to continue they need to increase economic growth, have better information access and use advanced technology to empower individuals and businesses.
