Zipporah takes over London!
Zipporah is pleased to announce two important wins recently secured with London Borough Councils, cementing their position as a key supplier in the region.
The first is the renewal of the contract with the Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames to provide Registrars services and the second is a new contract with London Borough of Sutton Council also to provide Registrars Services.
The wins are particularly significant as competition was strong, and Zipporah were selected after a rigorous formal purchase procedure and extensive demonstrations. The Councils were so impressed they have opted to implement all aspects of the Zipporah system including Core Diary, Ceremony Planner, RSS Replacement (Lifeboat), Cashbook and Citizenship. Self-arrival will be included which will also allow for contactless arrival by mobile.
The Covid pandemic has been a difficult time for councils and Zipporah has responded to the challenges with initiatives such as fast implementation times and delivery of free systems to help councils meet the needs of their citizens during lockdown. Zipporah offered a free system to councils early in the pandemic as an additional provision to support local authorities as part of our commitment to helping councils and their communities. This commitment to delivering on the social values side of the business also allows that the councils will be able to utilise a free copy of the software to offer support to their local charity organisations around booking and resource management.
Critical to the IT teams for both Kingston and Sutton is Zipporah’s understanding of digital transformation requirements in a post Covid world and their innovative, flexible approach, because one size definitely does not fit all councils. Of key interest to the IT teams is Zipporah’s extensive open API standard interface which will allow them to achieve their digital transformation goals over the coming years and integrate Zipporah within their overall digital strategy for the future of the citizen and their interaction with council.
