Delivering a HAF solution for Staffordshire County Council this festive season!

The Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF), supported by England footballer Marcus Rashford, is a programme operated by Government with Local Authorities to ensure that the “holiday experience gap” that can exist for some families is bridged for many children alongside delivering the provision of a healthy meal to those children.

The programme has been running throughout 2021 and will include the forthcoming festive period.   Staffordshire County Council are one of many councils working with providers to deliver this service, allowing thousands of children to attend activities run by multiple activity club providers across the county.

Zipporah have been a long time supplier to Staffordshire County Council, working in partnership with them before and throughout the pandemic; including the delivery of their lateral flow testing booking system.  With our previous successes working with the council it was with some excitement that we were given the opportunity to work further with the council and extend the system to support the HAF programme.

Staffordshire was confident in Zipporah’s ability to ensure sensitive information will remain safe and secure with a service that is robust and reliable. As with any partnership, the Zipporah team has been on hand to assist and provide guidance for the council and quick implementation of the system within the council’s tight timescales. Soon we will see activity providers benefiting by receiving automated up-to-date attendee lists, allowing them to prepare in advance and be ready for the Christmas fun to commence!
