Upholding standards: Cyber Essentials
Zipporah is pleased to announce that the organisation has once again received the Cyber Essentials certification – demonstrating a continuing commitment to top cyber security.
As a result of the Covid crisis, there has been a significant acceleration in the introduction of digital services to local authorities, and all sorts of other organisations across the world. As a result of this, now more than ever, ensuring data security must be the top priority for councils across the country.
Scott Burton, Technical Director:
“Along with our ISO accreditations (27001, 9001) which were awarded earlier this year, this Cyber Essentials renewal will add further reassurance to clients that they’re partnering with an organisation with robust IT management and top security control.”
During such uncertain times, while many organisations are playing catch up and still in crisis management mode, Government bodies must ensure they only align themselves with organisations who uphold excellence in security. Particularly at a time when staff are largely working from home, cyber security must be treated as the highest of priorities. It is vital that local authorities only partner with organisations who earn the highest certifications - by the most esteemed bodies. Only then will local authorities gain and maintain public trust.
Scott Burton continues:
“Zipporah’s latest achievement in receiving this recertification will be a comfort to all clients, current and future. Combined with our ISO accreditations, Cyber Essentials is an assurance that all Zipporah people, processes and technology are secure and that the organisational commitment to excellence is enduring.”
Zipporah is very pleased and proud to have achieved this recertification.
